L's dad phoned early one morning and said there's a balloon flying by in the west. I had no idea what he was talking about but we all went to look and here's what we saw flying by our yard...not a familiar sight in the country I can assure you!
wow! nope, that is NOT a common sight in the country... period! :)
there's a guy who flies this... this... thing (i dunno what it's called!) it's a TINY little airplane of a thing... sounds like it's powered by a briggs & stratton or something! lol! it's more like a hang glider, i guess...
but he flies around here sporatically. it's always fun to watch where he goes, etc.
sometimes i wonder if he's a cop! lol! it's wooded around here & well.. there are some unsavory characters living down the road from us... sometimes i think he might be looking for a crop of "special" plants, ykwim!!
but it's nicer to think he's just an ecentric fella who is brave enough to soar around up there and has a LOT of faith in that briggs & stratton. =:D
