Guess who's been bugging me to buy seeds and get some plants started...R5 is busy planting watermelon, cantaloupe and sunflower seeds. I think I'll just retire and let him take over my garden :-)
That's my next chore! I am going to get some spinach and lettuce going early. I've never planted them indoors - usually I just buy the little plants at the nursery but I think I'll give it a try this year.
I love starting my seed indoors and so Ladger set up a shelf with two florescent light fixtures so my plants won't get tall and spindly. Today we're starting to see some of the seed sprout. Rory loves checking on them. Today I want to finish up with a couple more sets of flower seeds.

awww ... that is so sweet ... it's great that he is interested in growing things at such an early stage ... must be in the blood, eh?
