I've started learning copperplate calligraphy - here's a sample piece I wrote when I was feeling a little weighed down. I love writing out scripture in calligraphy as it makes me slow down and really think about it.
It's lovely! I have just been thinking lately how I'd love to learn calligraphy, and even commented on it to my kids yesterday! I also like to copy Scriptures down, and wish it looked nicer when I do... We were thinking of even having some fun with the Spencerian penmanship books eventually (once they get their regular cursive hand down a bit more).
I don't have very good handwriting either, but you give me hope! Thanks for visiting my place, it was so good to hear from you. Snow is good...;^) And I'm sure you've some lovely sights up there that we'd love to see.
But yes, the sunshine and colorful faces of Spring's early bloomers are welcome sights around here! She will be coming your way, before you know it!

Just BEAUTIFUL!
And THAT is the verse I have been meditating on the last week!
You blessed me!
THANK YOU!
Lovely!
You did a beautiful job!
Wow! You did a great job. Thats beautiful.
Thanks! I've always loved (envied) beautiful handwriting (which I do not have BTW) so this is a particular joy to me :-)
That is so beautiful - I'll bet you remember it easier after you write it out like that...
Oh Andrea!
