I've been reading a blog lately that is written by a Christian, Mennonite gal from the states. Of course they are dealing with an upcoming election and the debate is hot. Many Christians support Bush but there are many who would rather support Kerry with his liberal agenda. There's nothing like politics to get the blood boiling as all the moral issues like abortion, same sex marriage, etc are brought up and battle lines are drawn. There is so much at stake and there is no doubt in my mind that it is primarily a spiritual battle. It's such a reminder that we need to be in prayer for our countries and the leadership "for our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against...the spiritual forces of evil...Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground..."
